For most people, Home Birth is the safest and most optimum place to birth their baby. Being in an environment that is familiar and feels safe can enhance the progress of your labour and birth, reduce the chances of needing medical intervention, and improve your birth experience overall. In your own home everything is in your control. Having said that, a hospital may be the place that you feel most comfortable giving birth, or you may have been recommended a birth in hospital. It can be a daunting process so you may want some additional support, and I can provide this too.
